Pocket RTWare* is a software application that will
run on almost any Internet-enabled handheld PDA (personal
digital assistant) device, allowing you to process credit
card sales from any location with access to cellular service.
With Pocket RTWare, credit cards can be authorized, charged
or credited without a traditional swipe terminal or conventional
Internet connection. This service works in conjunction with
an RTWare.net account using the merchant's existing login
ID and password. RTWare.net features such as FraudScreen.Net
and AVS filtering are available for Pocket RTWare transactions.
Pocket RTWare is a free service provided to all RTWare.net
account holders.
Pocket RTWare works on any PDA with a Palm O/S that
has Internet access. Some examples of supported handheld devices
are:
- Palm VII
- Palm VIIx
- Palm V or Vx
with a wireless modem
- HandSpring
